Ashaig is one of the most scenic parts of the Isle of Skye. The area is situated in the south part of Skye looking across to the Isle of Raasay and its extinct volcano Dun Caan; and to the east, the mainland of Scotland and the Applecross peninsula.
The area is an ideal holiday destination as the attractions include: The Cuillin Hills, both the Red and Black Cuillin Hills. There is a plethora of wildlife ranging from deer, otters, marine and sea-life as well as dozens of bird species.
The culture of the area is rich and diverse with traditional Scottish highland music, singing and dancing as well as the Gaelic culture - alive and well on The Isle of Skye.
Anyone who enjoys :- yachting (sailing), walking, climbing, cycling or simply touring by car... cannot fail to enjoy Ashaig and the southern-most tip of Skye.
